The Fizik Antares Evo R1 Adaptive Saddle is a revolutionary piece of equipment featuring 3D printed padding. Advances in 3D printing allowed Fizik to create the saddle they wanted without any limitations imposed by traditional construction methods. The carbon padding was created using Digital Light Synthesis Technology which uses digital ultraviolet light projection, oxygen permeable optics, and programmable liquid resins to create parts with the desired properties. This allowed Fizik to create a padding that boasts multiple functional zones within the saddle, each with its own mechanical properties. Each zone has a distinct cushion and purpose and they all work together to create the perfect saddle.

Countless professional and amateur cyclists tested the Fizik Antares Evo R1 Adaptive Saddle before it went into production so it could be fined tuned for the public.
